Matt and Emma Ferguson welcome you to the Fire Engine at Marazion.
They have extensive experience in the pub and restaurant trade, with Matt coming from the Halzephron Inn at Gunwalloe, the Nansloe Manor Hotel in Helston and the Pandora Inn at Restronguet, before managing the Norway Inn at Perranarworthal. Since 2017 they formed West Cornwall Inns which has ran the Three Tuns in St Keverne, the Halfway House in Rame and continues to run the Queen's Arms in Breage.
When not welcoming customers to the Fire Engine, Emma can be found writing the Helston Packet newspaper - something she has done for the last 14 years.
Head Chef is Matt Hichens who gained a lot of his experience in the well regarded Halzephron Inn and Nansloe Manor Hotel. Since then Matt has been with the company running various kitchens for us until settling at the Three Tuns as head chef for three years. His main draw is using what we can from local suppliers where possible and using premium quality cuts and ingredients.
Matt has is very excited to implement a lot of local seafood in his specials whilst still focusing on hearty, well made meals. His latest challenge is having one of his menus (the children's menu) completely taken over by the boss's daughter.
