Accessibility

We are proud to be open and inclusive to all, and do everything we can to work around the confines of our early 1900s building.

Staff are disability and equality trained and our restaurant is laid out for easy accessibility. There is a ramp available upon request to access the front step of the building.

Regrettably, due to the age restrictions of the building, there is no disabled toilet or disabled access to the first floor letting rooms.

Our car park is situated behind the pub. To access it please take the left hand exit upon entering the village square, then turn almost immediately right onto Well Lane. The car park can be found to the right, opposite the parish hall.

Please note, due to the reduced width of this lane, larger vehicles such as camper vans may have trouble accessing the car park. Alternative parking is available in the village square and in the parish council-run car park in Lemon Street, a two-minute walk from the pub, where there is an "honesty box" donation system. Please let us know if you require any help carrying your luggage from either of these car parks.

All our menus are marked with vegetarian and vegan options, with a separate gluten free menu available. Menus are also available in large print.

Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs or allergies and our waiting staff will be happy to advise. Our chefs will also do everything possible to adapt dishes where required and are trained in popular diet plan methods, so please ask if you would like your food cooked in a particular way.

We are a member of the Breastfeeding Network and are a breastfeeding friendly zone.

We welcome all dogs on leads in the bar area and water bowls are available at the front and back of the pub. We do not allow dogs in the bedrooms.
